My first trip to Nawlins was in May of 2002. A friend and I took the Amtrak train and we enjoyed the ride there. We stayed at the Radisson Hotel which was 8 blocks from the quarters, but I did not care because we could see many things as we walked. My first visit there and I was in love with the city and it's people. I enjoyed it so much that I came back to New Orleans 3 more times that year. And 1 more time in 2003. On my second trip there I came by myself and I still enjoyed my self. I met people and to this day we still keep in contact with eachother. I had planned to come back the year Hurricane Katrina had hit. I was heart broken at what had taken place during the devastation there. I'm planning a trip there again this year,(2008),and I'm excited about coming back and I'm going to make the most of my 5 days and nights there. I got love still for you Nawlins.
